The announcements module is probably one of our coolest. Basically, it's a way to create "HEY LOOK AT ME" graphics that catch your visitor's attention. You can have these announcements rotate through many "slides" or just keep one graphic in for a static announcement. Each slide will be "linkable" so you can easily lead your visitors to the most important pages for them to see.
We measure the clicks for each announcement so you'll be able to see which ones are popular with your audience and work on those that aren't. Announcements can be "retired" after a certain date - in other words, if you just want it to show on the site for a specific time frame - set an expiration date and it will automatically be removed from your site on that day without having to remember to take it down. Sweet.
